Ginkgo Bioworks Facilities Electrical Survey

One of the main projects I was tasked with while working for Ginkgo Bioworks was mapping and updating their existing electrical one-line drawings for the entirety of the Ginkgo Bioworks occupied spaces. Ginkgo’s operations were within the entirety of the top floor of the building shown above as well as all but one floor on the leftmost third of the building. This project spanned months and I coordinated with electricians and building management in order to trace and map all of the additions to the electrical panel distribution within the building. The updated drawing was created in AutoCAD and the final product was printed out as a reference for the entire office.
